How is your immune system doing? The cerascreen® Immune System Test measures the number of five different types of lymphocytes in your blood. Lymphocytes are a subgroup of white blood cells and play an important role in the immune system. Doctors analyse lymphocytes as an indication of whether an infection is present.

Such an analysis is particularly of importance within the context of the coronavirus pandemic: studies have identified a possible link between low lymphocyte levels at the start of the infection and the risk of a severe Covid-19 infection.

    Suggested Use

    Take a blood sample

    Using one of the lancets included with the Immune System Test, take a few drops of blood and collect them on the dried blood spot card.

    Activate your Immune System Test

    Enter your Test ID in your secure My cerascreen® user account of your home health test on our website or in our My cerascreen® app. Then answer a few short questions, so that we can give you personalised recommendations.

    Send a blood sample

    Send the dried blood spot card together with your blood sample on it by mail to our partner laboratory free of charge using the prepaid return envelope.

    Laboratory analysis

    Your blood sample will be analysed in a specialised laboratory for the concentration of five different lymphocytes.

    Results report

    You will receive a personal result report that tells you what proportion of the total white blood cell count the respective lymphocytes make up and whether these values are within the reference range of healthy adults.

    The results report

    As soon as your sample has been analysed, you will receive your results report via the My cerascreen® app or your user account on our website. You can easily view the report on your smartphone, tablet or computer and print it out, if required.
